Services
Everything your Spanish operation needs. One firm.
Employment, tax, accounting, corporate and legal work for foreign-owned companies in Spain — from one team, with one named advisor.
Everything we do for a client sits in one of three retainers. The rest is quoted before it starts, and nothing inside a retainer is ever itemised on an invoice.
-
Managed Payroll
For a foreign employer with staff in Spain and books kept abroad.
Your people paid right, and every decision costed before you take it.
-
Tax & Employment
For a subsidiary with its own finance team or group ERP.
Your calendar, your notices and your people handled, and HQ gets its numbers.
-
Full Subsidiary
For a subsidiary with no finance function in Spain.
We run the whole Spanish operation. You read one page a month.
Bookkeeping is the switch between the second and the third. The judgement layer and custody are the switch between the first and the second.
That’s the point of a single firm. Not that we do more things — that the second, third and fourth thing you need never becomes your problem to organise.
What we do.
Employment and payroll
- Payroll, social security and every registration
- Contracts, changes and terminations
- Your collective agreement, identified and applied
- Sick leave, parental leave and benefits
- Collective redundancies and temporary layoffs — ERE and ERTE
- The Labour Inspectorate, conciliation and the employment courts
Tax
- VAT, withholdings and corporate income tax
- Related-party transactions with your parent — Modelo 232
- Non-resident taxation and repatriating profit
- EU VAT registration and near real-time reporting — ROI/VIES and SII
- Inspections, formal submissions and appeals
- Personal tax for directors: the Beckham regime, foreign assets, annual returns
Corporate
- Incorporation, through the state CIRCE system
- Capital increases and reductions, share transfers
- Statutes, shareholders’ agreements, the board
- Annual accounts, books and the general meeting
- Beneficial ownership and Registry filings
- Orderly wind-down and liquidation
Someone here, when you have nobody here
- Registered office and mail: a registered address, with physical mail received, scanned and logged on the day it arrives
- Attorney-in-fact: a named person with a limited power to sign, file and appear before authorities, banks and notaries, on written instruction — apoderado
- Fiscal representative for a non-established business with Spanish VAT obligations
- Resident legal representative for a branch: the individual named in the Registry
- Liaison representative for posted workers: the named contact for the Labour Inspectorate during a posting
Every role carries personal exposure, so each one is taken on under written instruction, with funds on account for any payment, and under our professional indemnity. Javier Estévez, our founding partner and a corporate lawyer, decides with you which roles your structure actually needs.
Legal and compliance
- Contracts and commercial terms, drafted by a practising lawyer
- Representation before the administrative and employment courts
- Harassment, digital disconnection and LGTBI protocols
- Equality plans, pay audits and whistleblowing channels
- Data protection and health and safety, with specialist partners
Immigration and mobility
- Intra-company transfers and highly qualified permits under Ley 14/2013, through the UGE-CE
- Bringing your own people here legally, for a project or permanently
- The impatriate regime for relocated directors and staff
- Visas in other countries where your project needs them, with specialist partners
- TIE, residence cards and the arrival paperwork
Some of this we do, some we deliver with immigration specialists we work with regularly. Either way it is one file, one price and one person you speak to — you never get handed a phone number.
Most clients start with two of these and end up using most of them. The order doesn’t matter. The fact that it’s the same people does.
One door in, then everything else.

International reporting · foreign GAAP
Your parent’s numbers, in your parent’s language.
Spanish statutory accounts follow the Plan General Contable, which is not US GAAP and not UK GAAP, and the differences surface exactly where they hurt — at consolidation, in front of your auditor.
We keep the statutory books correct here and hand your parent figures it can use. There are four levels. The first is inside every Tax & Employment and Full Subsidiary fee; the other three are modules, priced per month in your proposal.
-
HQ pack, included.
Monthly P&L and balance sheet mapped to your group’s chart of accounts, the intercompany schedule and the close status, in English, on your group’s close date.
-
Inside your ERP.
We post or upload into your group’s SAP, Dynamics 365 or Sage X3 on the group close calendar, with intercompany reconciled against the counterparties. No spreadsheets rekeyed.
-
Group GAAP.
US GAAP or UK GAAP adjustment entries each quarter, with a reconciliation memo from the Spanish basis to yours, ready for your group auditor.
-
Board pack.
A quarterly pack in English: the KPIs your group defines, variance commentary, and the employment and tax position.
It’s the reason some of our clients chose us, and it is the part of this job most Spanish firms do worst.
A Spanish authority writes. We answer, and we represent you.
The letter arrives in Spanish, with a deadline already running. We take it from the first request for documents through to the courts, in tax and in employment, and you follow the whole thing in English.
- Representation at a tax inspection, from the first request for documents
- Formal submissions, and appeals to the administrative courts
- The Labour Inspectorate, conciliation and the employment courts
- Challenges to penalties, and responses to enforcement action
Always quoted before we start. On some of this, part of what we charge depends on what we save you.
What Spain requires from your first employee, and from your fiftieth
Compliance and regulatory.
Beyond filings, Spain requires foreign employers to have things in place — protocols, registers, plans, channels — that arrive with headcount rather than revenue and that almost nobody is told about. We tell you which apply today, which will within twelve months, and we implement them.
| Obligation | Applies from |
|---|---|
| Harassment protocol | First employee |
| Digital disconnection policy | First employee |
| Working-time register | First employee |
| Pay register | First employee |
| Health and safety arrangement | First employee |
| Equality plan and pay audit | 50 employees |
| LGTBI protocol | 50 employees |
| Whistleblowing channel | 50 employees |
Health and safety and data protection are delivered with specialist partners, and we say so rather than implying we do everything ourselves.
Your own position, not just the company’s.
If you’ve moved here, or you’re the director of a company that has, there are decisions with your name on them rather than the company’s — and one of them has a deadline most people miss.
- The Beckham regime, applied for within six months of starting work
- Permanent establishment assessment, in 72 hours
- Foreign assets and crypto held outside Spain — Modelo 720 and 721
- Income and wealth tax returns for foreign residents
- How you pay yourself, and keeping your personal and company positions cleanly separated
What we deliver with partners, and what we send elsewhere.
Five things are delivered with named partners and stay on one file, one invoice and one person you speak to: we brief the partner on your company, hold the file, and stay in the conversation until it’s finished. Three things we don’t do at all go to firms we work with regularly, and you get an introduction, not a redirection.
- Customs consultations and incidents
- Health and safety
- Data protection
- Immigration files
- Sustainability reporting
- Litigation outside the employment and administrative courts
- Full transfer pricing studies with comparables
- Audit
Tell us what you need. We’ll tell you where it sits.
Inside your fee, quoted before we start, or with a partner we trust. Either way you hear it from us first, and before the work begins.
